Sedation Safety Course Part I

Registration Deadline: 24 April 2020 (Friday)

In light of the recent outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the format of the Sedation Safety Course will be changed to 2 parts: the Zoom session (Part I) and the Practicum session (Part II). Certificate of Completion will only be issued to those who have attended both online session and practicum session of the course and completed pre and post-course tests of practicum session. Passive CME of 3 units and Active CME of 3 units will be awarded after attending online session and practicum session respectively. The Practicum session (Part II) will be held in 3-6 months later in view of the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. Details of ZOOM session are as follow:

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Course Content: Current standard of care, Safety precautions, Drugs usage and Management of serious adverse events

Course Format: Lectures, Group discussion (Interactive)

Since the maximum number of participants is only 30, registration will be on first-come-first-served basis. To register the course, please fill in the enclosed application form to College Secretariat Office by 24 April 2020 (Friday). Please refer to the enclosed poster for more details of the programme.
