Monograph - Healing with the Scalpel - From the First Colonial Surgeon to the College of Surgeon of Hong Kong
The College first publication of Monograph, "Healing with the Scalpel - From the First Colonial Surgeon to the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong" is now available.  This monograph is a tribute to all those who have contributed to the advancement of surgery and achievements of the College as well as to the whole medical profession.   It also provides a comprehensive account of the important milestones of the development and history of surgery leading up to the formation of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong.

One Complimentary Copy for Fellows and Members
Each Fellow or Ordinary Member is entitled to ONE complimentary copy of Monograph.

If you have not yet collected your complimentary copy, please download the collection form.  You could collect the book by the following method(s):

  1. In person (College Secretariat Office)
  2. *Courier (fellows with local delivery address)/ Airmail (fellows with overseas address)
  3. Authorization (Please complete the authorization form to delegate a third party to collect the book.)

*A charge will be imposed for those who wish to obtain the copy via courier (local) or by airmail.

For Extra Copies
The Monograph is not for sale. For extra copies, each Fellow or Member is required to make a minimum donation of HK$350 to the College. All donations would go directly to the Education Fund of the College. The donation should be made in the form of cheque made payable to "The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong Limited".
