Carlos A. Pellegrini Fellowship 2020

I am pleased to inform you that the College has received an invitation from The China-Hong Kong Chapter of the American College of Surgeons to submit nominations for the Carlos A. Pellegrini Fellowship 2020. This Fellowship, which was established in 2012 and inaugurated in 2013, is a prestigious award honoring an esteemed leader of American surgery of rare equal.

The successful nominee will spend about 2 weeks in the U.S. to attend the Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons in October, and visit two or at most three centres, including Dr Pellegrini’s Department in the University of Washington. The stipend will be USD10, 000.

The nominees will be vetted by the China-Hong Kong Chapter and the final selection will be rested with the American College of Surgeons.

Interested party may submit a completed proforma (a proposed travel plan and indication of preferred centre(s) for visit), a brief Curriculum Vitae, and a passport photo to the College Secretariat at Room 601, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building, 99 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Hong Kong on or before 23 March 2020 (Monday).
