Dear Fellows,

I am pleased to inform you that the College has received an invitation from The Hong Kong Chapter of the American College of Surgeons to submit nominations for the Carlos A. Pellegrini Fellowship 2024. This Fellowship, which was established in 2012 and inaugurated in 2013, is a prestigious award honoring an esteemed leader of American surgery.

The successful nominee will spend about 2 weeks in the U.S. to attend the Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons in October, and visit at most 3 centres, including Dr Pellegrini’s Department in the University of Washington, before his retirement. The stipend will be USD10,000.

The nominees will be vetted by the Hong Kong Chapter and the final selection will be rested with the American College of Surgeons.

Interested party please submit a completed proforma (a proposed travel plan and indication of preferred centre(s) for visit), a brief Curriculum Vitae, and a passport photo to the College Secretariat by email: corpcomm@cshk.org on or before 5pm, 9 April 2024 (Tuesday).
