Taking reference to other medical journals, the Editorial Committee of Surgical Practice is going to introduce an Editor Assistant Programme. The Programme serves to attract surgeons joining the Editorial Committee as Editor Assistants. We shall provide training and guidance to Editor Assistants to enhance their enthusiasm in editing and submitting manuscripts. The Editorial Committee has the view that Surgical Practice would only be sustainable in the long-run with new blood joining in.

Editor Assistants would be responsible for assisting Editors in the handling of manuscripts, from submission to publication and attending Editorial Committee meetings.

Interested party please submit your completed application documents to the College Secretariat by post: Room 601, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building, 99 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong OR by email: surgicalpractice@cshk.org on or before Monday, 8 September 2025. Applications will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee. Please find enclosed the “Notes for Applicants” and proforma for further details.
